So what's the best way to make money online?

A lot of people want to jump right out of the gate with the most profitable method for making money online. But very few people actually know what that method actually is.

So I've made this top 8 list based on a poll that received nearly 3,000 votes on the subject. This should give you an idea of what you should start with to make money online.

#6 - Freelance Work (5.1% of votes)

Have any computer skills? Even if you don't, there is lots of work out there that needs to be done online. And if you have a computer you can get freelance jobs at places like elance or getAfreelancer.


#5 - Other Random Methods (12.5% of votes)

There are hundreds of ways to make money online. The "other" category is where all the little methods with only 1 or 2 votes fall under. Because top 8 is much more appealing than top 284.

A great way to make money with your website or blog. Users that are interested in the ads that are shown will click them and earn you money. Sometimes users will even click ads as a thank you for providing great content on your side (as kind of a free donation).

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 10 years you've probably heard of eBay. And I'm willing to bet you expected it to appear on this list somewhere, right? Well even today eBay is a great way to make money online by selling things around the house or starting your own online store.

Don't have your own product to sell yet? Well, you can make loads of cash by selling other peoples products. Sign up for a place like Clickbank and earn up to 75% commission on every sale you make.

This is by far the best way to make the most money online. It has been since the dawn of the internet and it will continue to be for easily the next 10 years. By creating your own products you stand to earn 100% commission from each sale plus you can build up a great reputation as a reliable seller that has quality products.
