Have you heard of Swoopo?

It's really the latest craze in online shopping and a it's a great way to make money online. While it's main purpose is a place to get AMAZING deals on stuff, you really can use this site to your advantage to make money.

This site is basically a combination between eBay, AddictingGames and... well, I can't really think of another place where you can get things like a Wii console for only $17.40 or a 37" LCD TV for only $22.66. Can you?

It sounds too good to be true but it's really not because of the way Swoopo is set up... 99.9% of the time they're actually making more than triple the cost of the item they're selling for under market value.

Here's how it works:

1. Bidding on auctions starts at just 15c, with no reserve prices.
2. The price only goes up by 15c with each bid placed. (Or only 1c if it's a penny auction)
   
3. If a bid gets placed in the final moments, they extend the auction by up to 20 seconds.
4. Each bid placed on an auction costs just $0.75, enabling them to offer such amazing deals.

So, if you work the numbers on their auctions you'll be able to see they're more than able to make the money needed to cover the costs on these items. The $17.40 Wii I mentioned was in fact a penny auction that earned them a total of $1,322.40 ($17.40 = 1740 penny bids, 1740 bid X $0.75 = $1,305 + $17.40 = $1,322.40) - not a bad profit on a $249 product!

Now, how can this site help you make money online?

It's simple really, in your spare time watch the auction on the site to establish a pattern of when the least amount of people are bidding on a specific item. (These guys sell the same 50 - 100 items over and over each day). Then make your move at placing a couple bids on the item. While you won't always win what you bid on you WILL eventually get some good deals.

A good tip is to not always go after the "big ticket" items that EVERYONE wants. Sometimes the easiest things to win are the smaller things that are still worth a couple hundred dollars. Once you've got an item at a huge discount you can easily turn around and list it on eBay for much more than what you paid for it and basically turn a decent profit. And in my experience...
